Intesi Group is an Italian company with expertise in public key infrastructure (PKI) and digital signature application and service management. Intesi’s products and services manage transaction signature and digital documents in compliance with Italian and European law.

Intesi’s PkBox is a flexible product designed to implement server side digital signature solutions, cryptography mechanisms, and strong authentication. It is used to support applications that require logical data security. Server side signature functions are managed by a specific PkBox distribution: PkBox Credential On DataBase (PkBox COD). Signing credentials and strong authentication seeds are stored to SQL DataBase, enabling management of a large number of users. Depending on the customer requirements and the architectural infrastructure, PkBox COD can be deployed in a single IT infrastructure or in a multi-tier configuration.

Intesi’s PkBox COD integrates with Entrust nShield hardware security modules (HSMs) to safeguard and manage the critical cryptographic keys used to support the document hash computation and the signed envelope creation processes. Entrust nShield HSMs provide the foundation of trust for the entire document signature process.
